Note the photograph featured in this article, which shows the ostentatious "Sagrada Familia" Catholic cathedral, surrounded by several construction cranes and facing a dried out reflecting pond. Anyone who is familiar with the Bible might take this as an ominous sign from heaven. Certainly far more significant than an image of Mary in the sky somewhere.

Back in 1972, climate scientists were concerned that the present warm period was about to end, and that the world was headed into a new ice age. They predicted that "a global deterioration of climate, by an order of magnitude larger than any hitherto experienced by civilized mankind, is a very real possibility and indeed may be due very soon."

"For millions of years, the geologic record shows, Earth has experienced an ongoing cycle of ice ages, each typically lasting about 100,000 years, and each punctuated by briefer, warmer periods called interglacials, such as the one we are now in. This ongoing cycle closely matches cyclic variations in Earth's orbit around the sun."

Current research shows that a brief period of global warming always precedes an ice age.

"None of us expected uninterrupted continuation of the [cooling] trend... I feel we're on pretty solid ground in interpreting orbit around the sun as the primary driving force behind ice-age glaciation. The relationship is just too clear and consistent to allow reasonable doubt."

Other scientists have shown that the temperature dip of the 1970s was related to reduced solar activity, and predict that we will be moving into a new "Little Ice Age" by 2030 based on historic analysis of solar cycle activity and temperature records.

This award is an insult to the memory of Alfred Nobel, the actual scientist for whom the prize is named. The earth has always experienced significant changes in surface temperature due to cyclic fluctuations in solar radiation, volcanic activity, ocean currents and other natural causes. Man-made effects are miniscule by comparison.

A British court has recently agreed with a concerned school administrator that Al Gore's movie is an "alarmist political film" which is filled with "scientific inaccuracies, political propaganda and sentimental mush".

The theory that global warming is primarily "man made" is simply a self-serving ploy to justify an expanded role for the world government bureaucracy, including political mandarins like Al Gore. It is another episode in the elite eco-socialist Earth Charter program for better herd management.

David M. de Rothschild of the British Rothschild dynasty is the founder of Adventure Ecology, an organization promoting sustainable development indoctrination for children and a key partner in the recent corporate-sponsored "Live Earth" propaganda event. This Young Global Leader has come down from Olympus to provide the masses with "value changing" education using the time-tested "concept of subliminal learning" in which emotion supercedes reason. Students are not told that Rothschild operations such as Rio Tinto and Shell Oil have been exploiting "mother earth" for over a century in order to "sustain" the lavish lifestyle of these multi-billionaires.

Adventure Ecology claims that "there is an international scientific consensus that most of the warming observed over the last 50 years is attributable to human activities". On a recent radio show, an interviewer asked David Rothschild to explain why Mars and other planets in the solar system also show clear signs of "global warming", despite any human activity. He replied: "Because those planets are closer to the sun, my friend." Amazing! The sky really is falling!

"A catastrophic collapse of the Arctic sea ice could lead to radical climate changes in the northern hemisphere according to scientists who warn that the rapid melting is at a "tipping point" beyond which it may not recover. The scientists attribute the loss of some 38,000 square miles of sea ice - an area the size of Alaska - to rising levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere as well as to natural variability in Arctic ice."

"Natural variability", including solar radiation and ocean temperature, is sufficient to explain the observed melting. An increased CO2 level in the atmosphere is historically a result of warmer ocean temperatures -- but not the cause of the warming.

The big news is that Alaska has shrunk by almost 95% from 656,424 down to a mere 38,000 square miles! Forget global warming -- what about this clear evidence of global shrinking ?!

A new documentary from Channel 4 in the U.K. debunking the pseudo-scientific claims that human activity and the generation of carbon dioxide is primarily responsible for global climate change, as featured in Al Gore's recent propaganda film "Inconvenient Truth". Presents a strong argument that fluctuation in solar activity, not CO2 levels, is the main driver of Earth's climate. Highly recommended!

Note that "sustainable Al" lives in a 10,000 sq. ft. mansion in the richest subdivision in Nashville, and personally consumes over 20 times as much electricity as the average U.S. household.

"2005 data from NASA's Mars Global Surveyor and Odyssey missions revealed that the carbon dioxide "ice caps" near Mars's south pole had been diminishing for three summers in a row. Habibullo Abdussamatov, head of the St. Petersburg's Pulkovo Astronomical Observatory in Russia, says the Mars data is evidence that the current global warming on Earth is being caused by changes in the sun. "The long-term increase in solar irradiance is heating both Earth and Mars," he said. "Man-made greenhouse warming has made a small contribution to the warming seen on Earth in recent years, but it cannot compete with the increase in solar irradiance."

This is an "inconvenient truth" for the eco-socialists who are using the fear of cyclic climate changes to advance their totalitarian agenda.
