Here's an article by the late political analyst Joe Vialls* speculating on how things might play out in the interminable Middle East / Central Asian conflict. His observations on the situation seem more timely now than when they were written 5 years ago, at the start of the Iraq invasion and well before Iran moved into the crosshairs. Let's just hope he was wrong.
"To see exactly how the Zionists drove us to this nuclear flash point, it is necessary to go back a few years to discover how the Jewish State managed to acquire sophisticated German submarine launch platforms, and American nuclear-tipped Harpoon missiles, thereby allowing a bunch of psychotic religious crazies in Tel Aviv to bring the Middle East, and perhaps the entire world, to the very brink of thermonuclear war." -- Joe Vialls, Part 1 and Part 2
* It is alleged that "Joe Vialls" was an alias used by Israeli author Ari Ben Menashe. Despite the questionable source and the exaggerated rhetoric, the piece contains some useful historic facts. Ben-Menashe worked for Israeli military intelligence from 1977-87, during the period of the Iranian Revolution and the Iran-Contra scandal, and was a member of Israel's secret Joint Committee on Israel-Iran Relations as described in his book "Profits of War: Inside the Secret U.S.-Israeli Arms Network."
