The U.S. State Department recently issued a travel alert regarding possible "terrorist attacks" during the month of September:

"As we mark the 10th Anniversary of the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks, the Department of State informs U.S. citizens traveling and residing abroad of the continued threat posed by al-Qa'ida and its affiliates... In the past, terrorist organizations have on occasion planned their attacks to coincide with significant dates on the calendar."

Evidently, foreign terrorist organizations are not the only ones that consider September 11th to be a significant date on the calendar.

• 1941-09-11: In Washington, D.C. the groundbreaking ceremony for the Pentagon takes place on a site chosen by President Franklin D. Roosevelt, 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason, near the Great Obelisk (Washington Monument)
• 1990-09-11: President George H.W. Bush, member of the Skull and Bones society, addresses a joint session of Congress proclaiming a "New World Order"
• 2001-09-11: U.S. air defenses in both New York and Washington fail to follow well-established intercept procedures, allowing FOUR commercial airliners to be diverted from their courses and crashed into the symbolic "twin towers" and the Pentagon

September 11th also happens to coincide with "New Year's Day" on the Egyptian calendar, honoring the goddess Isis and the rising of the blazing star Sirius.

"The 'Beginning of the Year' or New Year's Day of the Egyptians was marked by the first dawn rising of Sirius, a star sacred to the goddess Isis, which originally occurred on the day of the summer solstice (i.e. on the 21st June Gregorian). This special day was called 1st day of the 1st month of Thoth. But because of the 1/4 day difference...this man-made calendar slowly 'drifted' away from both the heliacal rising of Sirius and the summer solstice, such that by the early Christian times the 1st of the month of Thoth had drifted to the 11th September Gregorian, which is why the [current] Egyptian-Coptic 'New Year' (i.e. 1st of Thoot), starts on that date."
