War mongers

"Listening to the debate on the Floor on this motion and the underlying [Iran sanctions] bill it feels as if we are back in 2002 all over again: the same falsehoods and distortions used to push the United States into a disastrous and unnecessary one trillion dollar war on Iraq are being trotted out again to lead us to what will likely be an even more disastrous and costly war on Iran. The parallels are astonishing... We need to see all this for what it is: Propaganda to speed us to war against Iran for the benefit of special interests."

-- Rep. Ron Paul

So, who are these "special interests" anyway?

Straight talk

"[U.K. Foreign Secretary] David Miliband was subjected to an astonishing four-letter tirade from his Russian counterpart at the height of the Georgia crisis. The Foreign Secretary received the undiplomatic tongue-lashing over the telephone after expressing the EU's anger with the Kremlin... At one point Sergei Lavrov, the colourful Russian foreign minister, became so incensed that he reportedly barked: 'Who the f*** are you to lecture me?'... Mr. Miliband's grandfather Samuel [a Polish Jew] served in the Red Army and his father Ralph Miliband was a leading Marxist theoretician...[who] is buried close to Karl Marx in Highgate Cemetery."

-- London Daily Mail

It seems that the Russians are well aware of just who has been pulling the strings in Georgia, and the "special relationship" they have with Israel, which provided the weapons and training used in the assault on South Ossetia which killed almost 1500 people. Evidently, being a Zionist* troublemaker outweighs a Marxist pedigree in diplomatic circles these days.

The Russians have since denied the veracity of the story:

"The Russian Foreign Ministry denied on Saturday British media reports that the head of the Russian diplomatic body, Sergei Lavrov, used foul language talking to his British counterpart David Miliband."

-- RIA Novosti

* Note that Mr. Miliband advocates a "two state solution" in Palestine, which is the more moderate Zionist position.

Here's an article by the late political analyst Joe Vialls* speculating on how things might play out in the interminable Middle East / Central Asian conflict. His observations on the situation seem more timely now than when they were written 5 years ago, at the start of the Iraq invasion and well before Iran moved into the crosshairs. Let's just hope he was wrong.

"To see exactly how the Zionists drove us to this nuclear flash point, it is necessary to go back a few years to discover how the Jewish State managed to acquire sophisticated German submarine launch platforms, and American nuclear-tipped Harpoon missiles, thereby allowing a bunch of psychotic religious crazies in Tel Aviv to bring the Middle East, and perhaps the entire world, to the very brink of thermonuclear war." -- Joe Vialls, Part 1 and Part 2

* It is alleged that "Joe Vialls" was an alias used by Israeli author Ari Ben Menashe. Despite the questionable source and the exaggerated rhetoric, the piece contains some useful historic facts. Ben-Menashe worked for Israeli military intelligence from 1977-87, during the period of the Iranian Revolution and the Iran-Contra scandal, and was a member of Israel's secret Joint Committee on Israel-Iran Relations as described in his book "Profits of War: Inside the Secret U.S.-Israeli Arms Network." (1992)

"Georgia also had a special relationship with Israel that was mostly under the radar. Georgian Defense Minister Davit Kezerashvili is a former Israeli who moved things along by facilitating Israeli arms sales with U.S. aid...

In a secret agreement between Israel and Georgia, two military airfields in southern Georgia had been earmarked for the use of Israeli fighter-bombers in the event of pre-emptive attacks against Iranian nuclear installations...

The Tel Aviv-Tbilisi military axis appears to have been cemented at the highest levels... But whether the Israeli Air Force can still count on those air bases to launch bombing missions against Iran's nuke facilities is now in doubt. " -- Arnaud de Borchgrave

The grim Reaper

"These armchair pilots at Creech Air Force Base in Nevada never leave the air-conditioned comfort of their command center. Air Force pilots are employing remotely controlled fighter-bomber aircraft -- known in military parlance as unmanned aerial vehicles, or UAVs -- to fly combat missions over Afghanistan... Sitting in a virtual cockpit is not as exciting as flying a fighter jet, but unmanned attack-plane pilots can enjoy a normal workday schedule -- more or less.

'Seeing bad guys on the screen and watching them possibly get dispatched, and then going down to the Taco Bell for lunch, it's kind of surreal,' says Captain Matt Dean." -- CNN article

Isn't that nice? Just imagine this activity "outsourced" to a bunch of professional video-game junkies who don't even know (or care) who or what the targets really are, and are quite happy to "dispatch" them without a second thought. Like the "Islamic extremists" in this Afghan wedding party that were recently slaughtered. Now couple that with a command structure that is no longer accountable to anyone except a few pro-Zionist oligarchs and their lackeys in the sham U.S. government...

"Our nation is once again contending with an ideology that seeks to sow anger and hatred and despair -- the ideology of Islamic extremism. In today's struggle, we are once again facing evil men who despise freedom, and despise America, and aim to subject millions to their violent rule. And once again, our nation is called to defeat these adversaries -- and secure the peace for millions across the world. And once again, our enemies will be no match for the men and women of the United States Air Force." -- George W. Bush, 2008-05-28

There is nothing more dangerous than a true believer in a false religion, especially if his finger is on the launch button.

Dub, dub, Dubya!

"Doubts intensified last night over the nature of an alleged aggressive confrontation by Iranian patrol boats and American warships in the Persian Gulf on Sunday, after Pentagon officials admitted that they could not confirm that a threat to blow up the US ships had been made directly by the Iranian crews involved in the incident... The Pentagon has said that it recorded the film and the sound separately, and then stitched them together..." -- Guardian, U.K.

"In recent years, American ships operating in the Middle East have had to contend with a mysterious but profane voice ... likely more than one person, who listens in on ship-to-ship radio traffic and then jumps on the net shouting insults and jabbering vile epithets." -- Navy Times

I'm sure it's merely a coincidence that this highly-publicized "aggressive confrontation" occured just as Mr. Bush was starting his P.R. tour of the region, including a pilgrimage to the Jewish shrines. This is not the only mysterious voice "jabbering vile epithets" that Americans have to contend with.

"In a letter handed to U.S. President George Bush Thursday, former Sephardic Chief Rabbi Mordechai Eliyahu admonished the US president to avoid any course of action that would harm the Jewish nation... 'Anyone who accepts the bible as the word of God must keep in mind that God had promised the land of Israel to the Jewish people alone. The Ishmaelites have no part of this divine guarantee.'" -- Ynet News, Israel

Mr. Bush, who masquerades as a Christian, would do well to keep in mind that it is not only the "Ishmaelites" -- one of the many racist epithets for non-Jews -- who are unwelcome in the Jewish State.

No nukes in Iran

Military
2007-12-08

According to the recently released National Intelligence Estimate generated by a top-level committee of U.S. federal agencies, the (alleged) Iranian nuke program was halted over four years ago and not restarted:

"We judge with high confidence that in fall 2003, Tehran halted its nuclear weapons program...

We assess with moderate confidence Tehran had not restarted its nuclear weapons program as of mid-2007...

Tehran's decision to halt its nuclear weapons program suggests it is less determined to develop nuclear weapons than we have been judging since 2005..."

-- National Intelligence Estimate, Nov 2007

Despite this new assessment, the Zionist war agitators are still adamant that Iran (like Carthage) must be destroyed, no matter what:

"I entertain an even darker suspicion. It is that the intelligence community, which has for some years now been leaking material calculated to undermine George W. Bush, is doing it again. This time the purpose is to head off the possibility that the President may order air strikes on the Iranian nuclear installations...

How better, then, to stop Bush in his tracks than by telling him and the world that such [diplomatic] pressures have already been effective and that keeping them up could well bring about 'a halt to Iran's entire nuclear weapons program'..."

-- Norman Podhoretz, Commentary

Perhaps comrade Podhoretz is worried that this awful treachery by the intelligence agency bureaucrats will hurt the sales of his new book.

"American military chiefs have been left dumbstruck by an undetected Chinese submarine popping up at the heart of a recent Pacific exercise and close to the vast U.S.S. Kitty Hawk - a 1,000ft supercarrier with 4,500 personnel on board. By the time it surfaced, the 160 ft Song Class diesel-electric attack submarine is understood to have sailed within viable range for launching torpedoes or missiles at the carrier." -- Daily Mail

Anyone who takes stories like these at face value is likely to be surprised. As the ancient Chinese strategist Sun Tzu once said: "All war is based on deception... Appear weak when you are strong, and strong when you are weak." The article doesn't mention that the U.S.S. Kitty Hawk featured in this latest episode is almost 50 years old and scheduled for decomissioning next year. Its replacement? The U.S.S. George H.W. Bush (CVN-77).

"The U.S. Navy, after nearly six years of warnings from Pentagon testers, still lacks a plan for defending aircraft carriers against a supersonic Russian-built missile, according to current and former officials and Defense Department documents. The missile, known in the West as the "Sizzler", has been deployed by China and may [have been] purchased by Iran." -- Bloomberg

Unstoppable Russian "carrier killer" missiles on undetectable Chinese submarines? Reported prominently by the New York financier press? Looks like the masters of the game are getting ready to roll out their latest model -- after they squeeze the last bit of mileage out of the old one.

"The Bush administration is deliberately downplaying the vulnerability of the Fifth Fleet to Iran's advanced missile technology which has been purchased from Russia and China since the late 1990's... By deliberately provoking an Iranian retaliation to U.S. military actions, the neoconservatives [aka Zionists] will knowingly sacrifice much or all of the Fifth Fleet. This will culminate in a new 'Pearl Harbor' that will create the right political environment for total war against Iran, and expanded military actions in the Persian Gulf region." -- Michael Salla

The War Agitators

Military
2007-09-12

"I am speaking here only of war agitators, not of those sincere but misguided men and women who, confused by misinformation and frightened by propaganda, follow the lead of the war agitators. As I have said, these war agitators comprise only a small minority of our people; but they control a tremendous influence. Against the determination of the American people to stay out of war, they have marshaled the power of their propaganda, their money, their patronage...

No person with a sense of the dignity of mankind can condone the persecution of the Jewish race in Germany. But no person of honesty and vision can look on their pro-war policy here today without seeing the dangers involved in such a policy both for us and for them. Instead of agitating for war, the Jewish groups in this country should be opposing it in every possible way for they will be among the first to feel its consequences.

Tolerance is a virtue that depends upon peace and strength. History shows that it cannot survive war and devastations. A few far-sighted Jewish people realize this and stand opposed to intervention. But the majority still do not. Their greatest danger to this country lies in their large ownership and influence in our motion pictures, our press, our radio and our government...

We cannot blame them for looking out for what they believe to be their own interests, but we also must look out for ours. We cannot allow the natural passions and prejudices of other peoples to lead our country to destruction."

-- Charles Lindbergh, Jr., September 11, 1941

See the entire Charles Lindbergh speech in our Article section.

"Iran must pay $2.65 billion to the families of the 241 U.S. service members killed in the 1983 bombing of the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut, a federal judge declared Friday in a ruling that left survivors and families shedding tears of joy."

-- A.P. News story (2007-09)

This latest travesty of justice is the final outcome of a 2003 ruling by the same Texas judge, a Reagan/Bush appointee who called the incident "the most deadly state-sponsored terrorist attack made against United States citizens before September 11, 2001."

The Beirut attack is always portrayed as "terrorism", but the U.S. military was actively involved in the war on the side of Israel and its militia allies and was therefore a legitimate military target, a fact that today's Zionist war agitators and propagandists would like you to forget.

* In March 1978, Israeli forces invade southern Lebanon. The U.N. issues Resolution 425 ordering them out, which they ignore. The U.N. "peacekeeping force" UNIFIL is formed (which is still operating after 30 years).

* In June 1982, Israel launches a massive invasion and occupation of Lebanon with over 100,000 IDF troops

* In September 1982, Israeli forces occupy Beirut, and allow their Phalangist allies to massacre hundreds of civilians in the Sabra and Shatilla refugee camps

* In September 1983 U.S. warships began shelling Druze positions in the Chouf Mountains outside Beirut in support of the Phalangist militia and Israel

* On October 23, 1983, the U.S. Marine barracks in Beirut, Lebanon is blown up in a successful attack by a suicide bomber driving a truck loaded with explosives. The building was not adequately defended, despite the fact that the U.S. Embassy in Beirut had been attacked using a truck bomb only 6 months earlier.

* In July 2006, Israel launches another military invasion of Lebanon, killing thousands. In the last 3 days of the conflict, after a U.N. "ceasefire" had already been arranged, Israel scattered over a million cluster bombs into Lebanese civilian areas which will continue to maim and kill them for years to come.

Who pays for the current generation of U.S. servicemen coming home from the middle east in boxes or with their legs blown off? And what about the bill for over half a MILLION dead Iraqi civilians? Who will cry "tears of joy" for them?
